Frontier Electronic Systems (FES) Corp. is aware of the conflict minerals reporting obligations legislated by section 1501 of the U.S Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act. While we are not a publicly traded company, we understand that many of our customers are required to do their due diligence and in the process have inquired or will be inquiring about the use of conflict minerals in the products we distribute.
FES is not a manufacturer of electronics components and thus is not in a position to provide accurate information about the use of conflict minerals in the components it distributes. The electronic component manufacturers are the only source of accurate information regarding raw materials including any conflict minerals, used in manufacture of their products. FES is doing our due diligence by requesting information relating to conflict minerals from our suppliers.
FES understands the importance of this issue to our customers. We are committed to the pursuit of responsible procurement practices and have no intention, directly or indirectly, of abetting the human rights violations identified in the Democratic Republic of Congo (the "DRC") and adjoining countries. We are in the process of developing and intend to implement procedures including but not limited to flow downs to our suppliers, to facilitate compliance with this final regulation.
We appreciate your business and continued support.
